Friends of Nike Site Summit Informational Open House

Atwood Building, 550 West 7th Ave.
Parking is free in the Linny Pacillo parking garage if you have your ticket validated at the Atwood security desk when you leave. Or, park for free at 8th & D.
Doors open: 5:30 p.m.
Welcome: 5:45 p.m.
Volunteer safety briefing: 6:15 p.m.
Informational displays until 7 p.m.
The evening will include information about the restoration of Site Summit, the former Nike Hercules missile battery atop Mount Gordon Lyon in Arctic Valley. The event includes refreshments and information about tours and volunteer opportunities. FONSS is seeking more volunteers for tours, work parties and its board of directors. Whether you can give an hour or 100 hours, we want to talk to you.
A safety brief, mandatory for all on-site volunteers, will begin promptly at 6:15 p.m. Volunteers who miss this briefing will need to attend the training later at the beginning of any Site Summit tour or at Range Control on Fort Richardson.
